Storefront SEO Specialists / method

Follow one purchase journey from search to selection.

A page can rank and still disappoint a shopper if its category, selected option or stock information does not match what the link promised.

  1. 01 / Understand the store

Separate organic acquisition issues from merchandising, site-speed and checkout problems. Review top categories against actual Search Console data.

  2. 02 / Build the search path

Choose commercially meaningful landing pages, make navigation obvious and eliminate duplicate intent across product tags and collections.

  3. 03 / Protect the implementation

Check plugin settings, rendered metadata and schema on realistic product and category examples before publishing changes.

  4. 04 / Read the commercial evidence

Track category-level traffic, product discovery and conversion events where analytics access and tracking quality permit.

Example: a link selects the wrong jacket colour

Enter a colour-specific product URL on mobile and record which variation is preselected, its visible price, stock status and structured data. Open a direct link for a different colour and repeat. If the theme does not preserve the chosen option or the markup contradicts the displayed offer, identify which layer controls the behaviour before recommending a search landing-page change.

A useful release test would verify that the correct option is selected, the offer details agree, the product link resolves and the canonical matches the approved strategy. The right fix might be in a theme or extension, not a new category page.

What success can and cannot mean

More coherent search landing pages with implementation work that survives normal store updates.

Search rankings can change for reasons outside an individual implementation. We agree commercial outcomes and evidence quality in advance rather than promising a fixed ranking or timetable.
